The real ones are called Ferrero Rocher. The fake ones are typically called Ferraro Rocher and are from Japan. As for the expiration dates on the Rochers they do not give a day as many of you Americans think. In europe dates are given day-month-year and on some products they only give month-year on the expiration date. If it as someone early used as an example says April 10, then it expires in April I hate to break it to all of you Ferrero Rocher chocolate lovers but i recently had a traumatizing experience.
