Where is kritika rawat now

Kritika is the only person in the Middle East to have a cake named after her. This honor was given to her as a token of respect for her great work as a Media Personality.

Kritika has been using her Radio show to help a lot of needy and unfortunate people in the UAE. Kritika helps all those people. On a daily basis, she gets flooded with requests of help.

She gets more than 50 emails every day from people writing in, to ask her to help them, as they feel she is the only one who can help them. And what if the radio station doesn't relent? We'll continue sending them tomatoes till they agree. When cartons of tomatoes start arriving at the radio station's doorstep day in and day out, they will have to do something,'' said Kotru, admitting that the campaign is loosely inspired by Bollywood movie Lagey Raho Munna Bhai, where the protagonist sends flowers to make people agree to his demands.

Sharjah book fair attracts 1. Omar: I second dinner and a movie. I love films, TV, video games and any video entertainment. So does Dina. It's why we're in the industry. Dina: Transparency. I'm constantly telling Omar how I feel - probably a little too much.

That means sharing feelings you're embarrassed of, not allowing pride to get in the way and admitting when you're wrong. Also, remembering to compliment your spouse! It's so important to make each other feel special once in a while. Omar: If you're unhappy about a situation, talk it out together. Don't make each other guess and don't assume that you know what the other is thinking.

As long as you talk to each other, there's generally nothing you can't overcome. The husband wife duo even work together on K Kompany, the Asian radio and television production company. From 'love hate' beginnings to working together, here's their story. Gaurav: Kritika literally walked into my life and turned it upside down.

When we met at the radio station that we both used to work for, ours was literally a love-hate relationship where she used to hate me and I used to love her. For me, Kritika was exceptional - very different from any girl I had met before in my life. I knew she was the one because of her qualities. She was ambitious, motivated, extremely driven and highly compassionate at the same time. I just knew this was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Kritika: It's funny, when I first met Gaurav he was probably the exact opposite of the man of my dreams.

We met while doing a radio show which was, ironically, a love show. All we did on the show was fight! We went on to become good friends, and that friendship turned into love. When Gaurav proposed live on air, I realised he was the one, because of how he's changed his life for me. He made me a promise then - "I can't promise you a life devoid of hardships, but I promise to make you laugh through it all".

Till today, he has kept his promise. Gaurav: Mutual respect is the most important thing in a relationship. As a couple, you need to honestly acknowledge your individual strengths and weaknesses and learn to take a step back and let your partner take over if she is better at handling a particular situation.

Frictions are a part of any relationship, and as long as two people can deal with them in a calm mature manner, all can be resolved. Kritika: There can be no fire without friction. In a relationship, you're constantly learning and growing. And if you refuse to look at things from your partner's point of view, you are risking your relationship as a whole. You need to feed off each other's ambition - that's the only way to nurture your relationship. Gaurav: Meeting your partner halfway is not a compromise because anything that ensures togetherness can never be a compromise.

I have only felt pride at all of Kritika's achievements and vice versa. When you are a couple, your success is always a dual thing. Kritika: If, by compromise, you mean being more understanding in your relationship, then that can only be a good thing. When you decide to spend your life with someone, everything automatically becomes They say 'behind every successful man is a woman'. I think behind every successful woman is a man as well. Gaurav and I share our ambitions, share our success and, thankfully, share our setbacks too.

How do you support each other with busy schedules? Gaurav: Since both of us are in the media we understand the demands of the field. You need to learn to make the most of the time on hand. It's the quality that matters over quantity. Kritika: We both work towards prioritising our personal lives and find reasons to spend time together.

It doesn't have to always be an elaborate dinner or taking up an activity together. Sometimes, it's the little things like accompanying each other on a drive to a professional appointment or waking up early to do breakfast together. If you really want to be together, you will find a way and not just make excuses. My entire family lives in Dubai, including my parents and sisters.

The UAE is the only real home that i have known. Tell us something interesting about your social gatherings, friends and food habits? Since we have always lived in the UAE all our life, we are blessed to have lots of friends that are like family to us. My husband Gaurav Tandon is a renowned Television personality and The biggest Asian Food Critic in the Middle East, so at our home every other day, we have some of the best chefs in the city who come and cook up delicacies for all of us. We are forever entertaining at home and love having so many people at our place.

Where did you complete your studies from? What is your advice for those aspiring to work abroad? My biggest advice to people aspiring to work abroad is, to get to know the culture of the place and be sensitive to the beliefs of people living in that country. Also people should do adequate research on the place before moving there or taking up a job there. How helpful is the Indian Community to those who have recently arrived in the country?

Can you share any personal experiences? Over all these years, when was the one time you missed India the most?
